【브레이크뉴스 경주】박영재 기자=경주소방서(서장 송인수) 안강119안전센터(센터장 서기원)는 ‘2025년 화재대응분야 특별승진’ 대상자로 소방교 박민준이 선정돼 지난 1월 15일 정기인사에서 소방장으로 1계급 특별승진했다고 27일 밝혔다.

화재대응분야 특별승진은 전국 18개 시·도 소방공무원 가운데 화재 현장에서 인명구조와 재산피해 방지에 탁월한 공적을 세우거나, 현장 대응기술 개발 등 적극적인 업무 추진으로 화재대응 역량 향상에 기여한 대원에게 주어진다.

박민준 소방장은 지난 2025년 3월 의성·안동 산불 현장에서 헌신적인 소방 활동을 펼친 것을 비롯해 각종 화재 및 생활구조 현장에서 국민의 생명과 안전 보호에 크게 기여한 공로를 인정받았다. 또한 재난사고 예방을 위한 현장 중심의 활동을 지속적으로 전개하며 모범적인 소방공무원으로 평가받아 이번 특별승진 대상자로 선정됐다.

박 소방장은 “현장에서 함께 임무를 수행하고 있는 동료들과 항상 응원해 주는 소방가족으로서 부모님, 아내, 자녀들 덕분에 특별승진이라는 큰 영광을 안게 됐다”며 “앞으로도 국민을 위해 헌신하는 대한민국 소방공무원으로서 맡은 바 본분을 다하겠다”고 소감을 밝혔다.
