【브레이크뉴스 대구】진예솔 기자=한국뇌연구원 (원장 서판길)이 소아 청소년 뇌연구를 위해 (주)오비이랩 (대표 정원선)과 손을 맞잡았다.

한국뇌연구원은 (주)오비이랩과 6일 오후 2시 한국뇌연구원 대회의실에서  소아청소년 뇌연구를 위한 공동협력 및 인력양성 방안 모색을 위한 상호 업무협약을 체결했다고 밝혔다.

한국뇌연구원에 따르면 이번 협약은 소아 청소년용 휴대용 뇌영상장치 개발, 뇌영상 분석법 및 각종 학술정보 상호교류 및 공동연구 수행을 통한 과학기술 발전을 위해 마련된 것으로 양 기관은 적극적인 협력을 약속했다.

협약은 소아청소년 뇌영상장치 개발, 소아청소년 심리 및 뇌영상 분석 방법 교류 및 공동연구, 디지털 치료제 및 디지털 헬스케어 분야 연구과제 공동 발굴 등 상호 양 기관 발전을 위한 협력을 주요골자로 한다.

특히 한국뇌연구원은 이번 협약을 기반으로 오비이랩의 ‘소아청소년 뇌영상 분석장치’를 한국뇌연구원이 보유하고 있는 ‘뇌영상 분석 방법 및 데이터’를 융합할 예정이다.

한국뇌연구원 서판길 원장은“이번 협약으로 한국뇌연구원은 (주)오비이랩과 긴밀한 협력관계 뇌연구 분야 전문성과 연구력을 기반으로 공동 연구 과제 추진과 교류를 통해 과학기술 발전에 이바지 하겠다”고 말했다.

Korea Brain Research Institute (President Pan-Gil Seo) has teamed up with OBI Lab (CEO Won-seon Won) for brain research in children and adolescents.

The Korea Brain Research Institute signed a mutual business agreement with OB Lab Co., Ltd. on the 6th at 2 pm in the conference room of the Korea Brain Research Institute to seek joint cooperation and human resource training for brain research in children and adolescents.

The agreement was prepared for the development of portable brain imaging devices for children and adolescents, brain imaging analysis methods, and scientific and technological development through mutual exchange of various academic information and joint research, and the two organizations promised active cooperation.

The main goal of the agreement is cooperation for the development of both institutions, such as the development of brain imaging devices for children and adolescents, exchanges and joint research on methods for psychological and brain image analysis in children and adolescents, and joint discovery of research projects in the fields of digital therapeutics and digital health care.

In particular, the Korea Brain Research Institute plans to fuse OB Lab's 'pediatric brain image analysis device' with the 'brain image analysis method and data' owned by the Korea Brain Research Institute based on this agreement.

Pan-Gil Seo, president of the Korea Brain Research Institute, said, “With this agreement, the Korea Brain Research Institute will contribute to the development of science and technology through joint research projects and exchanges based on expertise and research capabilities in the brain research field, which is a close cooperative relationship with OBI Lab.”
