한국뇌연구원은 3대 원장에 이어 4대 원장으로 서판길 원장이 연임한다고 16일 밝혔다

서판길 원장은 서울대 수의학과를 졸업하고 동 대학원에서 의학석사, 의학박사를 취득했다.

또 지난해 대한민국 최고과학기술인상을 수상한 의생명과학분야 석학으로 포스텍, 울산과학기술원(UNIST)를 거쳐 2018년부터 3대 원장으로 한국뇌연구원을 이끌어 왔다.

서판길 원장은 “한국뇌연구원은 국책연구기관으로 연구역량 강화뿐만 아니라 사회적 책무를 달성할 수 있도록 전 임직원이 혼신의 힘을 다해 국가와 국민의 기대에 부응하는 기관으로 성장할 수 있도록 임기 내 막중한 소명의식으로 최선을 다할 것이다”고 밝혔다.

 The Korea Brain Research Institute announced on the 16th that President Suh Pan-gil will be reappointed as the 4th president following the 3rd president.

Director Suh Pan-gil graduated from Seoul National University's Department of Veterinary Medicine and obtained a Master of Medicine and a Doctor of Medicine from the same graduate school.
