【브레이크뉴스 경주】박영재 기자=동국대학교 WISE캠퍼스는 30일 교내 문무관에서 산업분야별 우수기업 50여개 업체가 참여하고 재학생 1500여 명이 참여한 가운데 ‘2022 Wise Dongguk, Career & Job Festival (진로·취업 박람회)’를 개최했다고 밝혔다.

대학에 따르면 이번 박람회의 가장 큰 특징은 ‘진로상담존’을 운영해 1학년부터 전 학년을 대상으로 진로 설정을 위한 진로상담 및 진로탐색을 할 수 있도록 구성했다.

학생들에게 기본적인 진로상담과 더불어 관심 분야의 직무/산업/기업과 관련하여 직무상담존에서 현직자들에게 직무와 산업, 기업에 관한 상담을 제공해 채용상담존과 연계하여 미래 채용 계획과 기업에 대한 정보까지 탐색할 수 있도록 했다.

이번 박람회에는 현장채용 및 채용상담이 이루어지는 ▲채용상담 ZONE, 현직자들이 직무를 상담하는 ▲직무상담 ZONE, 국가고용정책 및 관련 사업들을 홍보하고 상담하는 ▲홍보 ZONE, 취업타로상담, 이벤트룰렛, 퍼스널컬러진단, 포토박스 등의 ▲이벤트 ZONE으로 구성했다.

이밖에 직무 및 채용상담관에서 상담을 받고, 만족도 조사를 완료한 구직자들을 대상으로 추첨을 통하여 아이패드와 에어팟, 갤럭시 버즈, 무선키보드세트, 정기 TOEIC응시권등을 제공하는 이벤트도 실시했다.

직무상담 ZONE에서는 ▲공기업 및 공공기관: KOICA, ▲대기업 계열사: 삼성전자외 12개 기업, ▲우수 중견기업: 쿠팡(주)외 3개 기업, ▲우수 중소기업: 반석E&C, ▲외국계기업: 한국쓰리엠(주)등 20여개 기업의 현직자들이 직무에 대한 상담을 진행했다.

채용상담 ZONE에서는 ▲공기업 및 공공기관: 한국수력원자력외 4개 기업(관), ▲대기업 계열사: 포스코플랜텍외 5개 기업, ▲우수 중견기업: ㈜다스 외 8개 기업, ▲우수 중소기업: ㈜세아메카닉스 외 4개기업, ▲외국계기업: 주식회사 코나폰코퍼레이션 외 1개, 졸업생 ▲창업기업인 주식회사 캐럿펀트등 30여개 기업이 참가하여 구직자들에게 알찬 채용정보를 제공했으며 그중 ㈜블루원을 포함하여 다수의 기업이 현장채용을 진행하여 취업 준비생들의 상담 행렬이 이어졌다.

김인홍 동국대 WISE캠퍼스 대학일자리플러스센터장은 “이번 박람회는 재학생들이 본인의 진로에 대해 탐색하고 전문가들과 상담하는 장을 마련한다는 것에 의미가 있다며, 1학년부터 진로목표를 설정하고 체계적으로 준비하여 졸업 시에 더욱 적성에 부합하는 취업으로 연결되도록 진로+취업 박람회를 마련한 것.” 이라고 밝혔다.

또한 “3년만에 열리는 이번 진로 취업 박람회가 저학년들에게는 조기 진로를 설정하는 계기가, 졸업예정자 및 졸업생, 지역청년들에게는 본인의 역량을 펼칠 기회로 연결되며, 참여 기업은 우수인재를 채용하여 기업 성장의 밑거름이 될 수 있는 행사가 되기를 바란다며, 더불어 기업과 구직자간의 미스매치를 줄여 지역사회에 기여할 수 있는 행사가 되고 체계적으로 취업준비를 할 수 있을 것이 되기를 기대한다”라고 설명했다.
