보건의료정보관리교육 평가‧인증은 한국보건의료정보관리교육평가원이 요구하는 보건의료정보 관리사 인재상을 기준으로, 시대와 사회가 요구하는 역량을 갖춘 졸업생을 배출할 수 있는 교육프로그램을 갖추었는지를 평가하는 제도다. 이 인증을 받은 대학의 졸업생만이 한국보건의료인 국가시험원에서 주관하는 보건의료정보관리사(의무기록사) 국가시험에 응시할 자격을 부여받는다.

2022년에 개설된 동국대학교 WISE캠퍼스 보건의료정보학과는 우수한 교육환경과 체계적인 교육과정으로 이번 평가에서 5개 평가 영역 중 4개 영역에서 만점을 기록하며, 100점 만점 중 95.9%를 달성했다. 그 결과, 이 학과의 학생들은 2028년도 신입생까지 보건의료정보관리사 국가시험에 응시할 자격을 얻게 되었다.

Dongguk University WISE Campus Department of Health and Medical Informatics announced that it achieved 95.9% out of 100 points in the interim evaluation of the 2024 1st cycle Health and Medical Information Management Education Evaluation and Certification New Evaluation hosted by the Korea Health and Medical Information Management Education Evaluation and Evaluation Institute, and obtained ‘2-Year Certification’.

Health and Medical Information Management Education Evaluation and Certification is a system that evaluates whether the educational program can produce graduates with the capabilities required by the times and society based on the image of the health and medical information management personnel required by the Korea Health and Medical Information Management Education Evaluation Institute. Only graduates of universities that have received this certification are eligible to take the national examination for health and medical information management (medical recorder) administered by the Korea Health and Medical Licensing Examination Institute.

The Department of Health and Medical Informatics at Dongguk University WISE Campus, which opened in 2022, achieved full marks in four out of five evaluation areas in this evaluation with its excellent educational environment and systematic curriculum, achieving 95.9% out of 100 points. As a result, students in this department are eligible to take the National Health and Medical Information Management Examination until the new students in 2028.
