【브레이크뉴스 경주】박희경 기자=동국대학교 WISE캠퍼스는 22일 오전 11시 교내 백주년기념관 대강당에서 「2025년 가을 학위수여식」을 개최했다고 밝혔다.
이번 학위수여식에서는 학사 355명, 석사 76명, 박사 5명 등 총 436명이 학위를 받았다. 행사는 개식, 삼귀의례, 국민의례, 학사보고, 식사, 치사, 환송사, 축사, 학위수여, 공로상 및 공로패 수여, 교가제창, 사홍서원 순으로 진행됐다.
윤재웅 동국대 총장은 졸업식사에서 “부처님의 가르침인 ‘자리이타(自利利他)’를 실천해 자신과 이웃 모두를 이롭게 하는 삶을 살길 바란다”며 “동국의 이름으로 세상을 변화시키는 주인공이 되길 바란다”고 전했다.
학교법인 동국대학교 이사장 돈관 스님은 치사를 통해 “끊임없이 배우고 정진하며 깨어있는 존재로 살아가야 한다”며 “동국인으로서 자부심을 갖고 사회에 선한 영향력을 발휘하길 바란다”고 격려했다.
류완하 동국대 WISE캠퍼스 총장은 환송사에서 “경주에서 시작된 여러분의 꿈이 세계를 긍정적으로 변화시키는 큰 힘이 되길 바란다”며 “WISE캠퍼스는 언제나 여러분의 자랑스러운 모교가 되겠다”고 강조했다.
또한 문선배 동국대 총동창회장은 “졸업생들은 개교 119주년의 역사와 35만 동문을 가진 동국대의 일원이라는 자부심을 가져달라”고 당부했다.
한편, 교내에는 포토존이 마련돼 졸업생들이 학위복을 입고 가족·친구와 함께 기념사진을 찍으며 학위수여의 순간을 축하하는 모습이 이어졌다.

Dongguk University WISE Campus President Ryu Wan-ha delivered his farewell address, saying, "I hope your dreams, which began in Gyeongju, will become a powerful force for positive change in the world." He added, "WISE Campus will always be your proud alma mater."
Moon Seon-bae, President of the Dongguk University Alumni Association, also urged the graduates, "I hope the graduates take pride in being part of Dongguk University, a university with 119 years of history and 350,000 alumni."
Meanwhile, a photo zone was set up on campus, where graduates dressed in academic gowns took commemorative photos with family and friends to celebrate the moment of their degrees.
