【브레이크뉴스 대구】박은정 기자=경희대학교 투자 동아리 ABS 가 주최하고, 핀테크 기업 뉴지스탁이 후원한 대학생 알고리즘 투자대회가 성황리에 마무리 됐다.

28일 뉴지스탁에 따르면 알고리즘 투자 저변 확대를 위해 기획된 이번 대회는 이론 지식을 평가하는 콘텐츠 제작 부분, 실전역량 접목을 위한 알고리즘 투자 부분으로 진행됐다.

콘텐츠 제작 부분은 기술적 분석 지표, 리밸런싱, 다이렉트 인덱싱, 자산배분 등 알고리즘 투자 지식을 평가했으며 뉴지스탁 내외부 전문가 심사를 통해 김태형(경제학과 2학년)-‘체계적 가치투자의 본질’, 채주영(수학과 3학년)-‘인버스 ETF를 이용한 자산배분’이 높은 점수를 얻어 수상자에 선정됐다.

알고리즘 투자대회 부분은 4주간 뉴지스탁의 투자 지원금으로 진행됐다. 

사람의 개입 없이 알고리즘 예약 매매로 진행된 이번 대회에서 김현아(무역학과 2학년)-‘수익률:4.41%’,김태형(경제학과 2학년)-‘수익률:4.24%’ 등이 상위 수상자로 선정됐다.

최우수 수상자로 선정된 김태형 학생은 “책을 통해 얻은 이론 지식을 매매 알고리즘으로 구현하는 값진 경험을 했다”며 “여러 학술 논문을 읽고 알고리즘 제작에 접목해 실전에서 좋은 성과를 냈다”고 소감을 밝혔다.

뉴지스탁 문호준 대표는 “알고리즘 투자 저변을 넓히기 위해 대학생 알고리즘 투자대회를 후원하고 있다”며 “이론 지식과 실무역량 확장을 희망하는 대학생들을 위해 2023년 투자대회도 적극적으로 지원할 것”이라고 전했다.

In this competition, which was conducted by algorithmic reservation trading without human intervention, Kim Hyun-ah (2nd year of Trade Department) - 'Return Rate: 4.41%' and Kim Tae-Hyung (Economics Sophomore year) - 'Return Rate: 4.24%' were selected as the top winners.

Taehyung Kim, who was selected as the grand prize winner, said, “I had a valuable experience of implementing the theoretical knowledge I gained through books into a trading algorithm.”
