【브레이크뉴스 의성】이성현 기자=의성군의회 의원연구단체‘의성군스포츠산업경제연구회’는 지난 15일회의실에서 ‘유소년 스포츠 활동을 통한 지역경제 활성화연구’용역 최종보고회를 개최했다고 밝혔다.

이날 보고회에서는그동안진행된 연구 내용의 결과와 의성군에 적용 가능한 방안을 공유했다.
보고회 내용으로는 의성군 유소년 스포츠 육성 방안과 스포츠 마케팅을 통한 지역경제 활성화 극대화 방안, 또 이를 통한 의성군미래성장 동력원 발굴 및 미래 전략 등이 제시됐다.
연구단체 대표인 이경원 의원은“다른 지역과 차별화된 정책들이 제시된 것 같아 고무적이며, 우리군에 적합한 맞춤형 유소년 스포츠 정책을 구상하는데에 최선을 다하겠다.”라고 밝혔다.
최훈식 의성군의회 의장 역시 “연구용역은 마무리하였지만 이로써 끝이 아니라, 앞으로 지속적 관심을 가지고 의성군이 스포츠 융복합 거점 도시로 발돋움할 수 있도록 힘을 쏟겠다.”라고 말했다.
한편, 본 연구단체의 연구용역은 7월부터 진행되었으며 향후에도 관련 정책의 제안, 의안 발의 등을 이어나갈 계획이다.

Uiseong County Council Chairman Choi Hoon-sik also said, “The research project has been completed, but this is not the end. We will continue to pay attention and work hard so that Uiseong County can rise as a sports convergence hub city.”
