【브레이크뉴스 대구】진예솔 기자=대구여자고등학교가 산불 피해 지원을 위한 따뜻한 나눔 실현에 나섰다.

지난 2일부터 9일까지 학생 자치회 주관으로 ‘함께 하면 희망이 됩니다! 산불 피해 지원 및 소방관 지원을 위한 대구여고 플리마켓(벼룩시장)’이 열렸다.

학생들은 직접 판매자로 참여하고, 구매자들은 자율적으로 기부금을 내는 방식의 플리마켓 행사를 통해 420만 원의 수익금이 모금되었다.

이 중 300만 원은 사랑의 열매 경북 지부를 통해 산부 피해 지역 주민들에게 전달하고, 60만 원은 대구여고 재학생 중 산불 피해를 입은 가정에 직접 지원하며, 남은 금액은 다음 기부에 사용될 예정이다. 

김영현 학생은 “이웃을 돕겠다는 작은 아이디어에서 시작됐지만, 친구들과 선생님들의 따뜻한 마음이 모여 큰 의미를 만들었다”며 “앞으로도 학생회와 함께 정기적인 플리마켓을 운영해 나눔을 이어가겠다”라고 소감을 전했다. 

박정미 교장은 “대구여고는 학생들의 자치 역량이 매우 뛰어난 학교로 이런 기부 행사를 학생들이 스스로 계획하여 추진한 것이 가장 큰 의미가 있다”라며 “앞으로도 학생들이 학업뿐만 아니라 따뜻한 나눔을 통해 사회에 공헌할 수 있는 미래 인재를 키워나가는데 최선을 다하겠다”고 말했다.

Daegu Girls' High School has stepped up to realize warm sharing to support wildfire victims.

From the 2nd to the 9th, the student council hosted the 'Together, Hope! Daegu Girls' High School Flea Market (Flea Market) for Wildfire Victims and Firefighters'.

Students participated directly as sellers and buyers voluntarily donated money to raise 4.2 million won in proceeds through the flea market event.

Student Kim Young-hyun said, "It started with a small idea to help neighbors, but the warm hearts of friends and teachers came together to create great meaning," and added, "I will continue to share by operating regular flea markets with the student council in the future."

Principal Park Jeong-mi said, “Daegu Girls’ High School is a school where students’ self-governance capabilities are outstanding, and the fact that the students planned and carried out this donation event on their own is most meaningful.” She added, “We will continue to do our best to foster future talents who can contribute to society not only through academics but also through warm sharing.”
