【브레이크뉴스 울진】이우근 기자=울진군의회(의장 김정희)는 6월 20일 제285회 제1차 정례회 일정을 모두 마무리하며, 2024회계연도 결산 승인의 건을 비롯한 총 16건의 의안을 의결했다.

이번 정례회는 11일간의 일정 동안 조례안 및 각종 안건 심의와 함께 관내 주요 사업장에 대한 현장 점검이 병행되며 심도 있는 논의가 진행됐다. 의원 전원은 회의장 안팎을 오가며 각종 사업 추진 상황을 직접 확인하고, 문제점과 개선방안을 적극 제안하는 등 왕성한 의정활동을 펼쳤다.

특히 예산결산특별위원회(위원장 황현철)는 2024회계연도 결산 심사를 통해 예산 집행의 적정성과 재정 운용 성과 등을 면밀히 분석했다. 심사 결과를 토대로 집행기관에 결산 심사에서 지적된 사항들을 적극 반영해 향후 보다 합리적이고 효율적인 예산 집행을 당부했다.

또한 군의회는 6월 13일부터 18일까지 관내 주요 사업장을 방문해 추진 과정에서의 문제점들을 직접 확인하고, 집행기관에 개선 방안을 제시하는 등 현장 중심의 의정활동을 이어갔다.

김정희 의장은 폐회사를 통해 “정례회 기간 동안 열과 성을 다해주신 동료 의원님들과 집행부 공직자 여러분께 감사드린다”며 “집행기관은 군민의 삶과 밀접한 중요 사업들이 차질 없이 추진될 수 있도록 최선을 다해 주시길 바란다”고 밝혔다. 아울러 “장마철 재해취약지역 현장 점검과 다가올 피서철 대비 안전사고 예방에도 철저를 기해달라”고 강조했다.

한편, 울진군의회는 앞으로도 군민들의 삶의 질 향상과 지역 현안 해결을 위해 적극적인 의정활동을 이어나갈 방침이다.
