공단은 신속집행 대상액 398억 원 중 322억 원을 집행하며 집행률 80.8%를 달성했다. 이는 행정안전부와 대구시가 제시한 기준치(58%)를 크게 상회하는 수치로, 지역경제 활성화에 실질적인 기여를 했다는 평가다.
신속집행은 일자리 창출과 사회간접자본(SOC) 투자 등 경제 파급 효과가 큰 분야의 예산을 조기에 집행해 지역 내 경제 흐름을 빠르게 돌게 하려는 재정 운용 전략이다.
