【브레이크뉴스 대구 】이성현 기자=대구경북인터넷기자협회는 오는 18일 대구 엑스코에서 2025년도 정기총회를 열고 지역 언론의 역할과 연대 강화 방안을 논의한다.

대구경북인터넷기자협회는 지난 2017년 4월 출범해 지역 언론인 간 소통과 연대를 강화하는 역할을 해왔다. 현재 29명의 회원이 활동 중이며, 지역 현안에 대한 공동 대응과 후배 기자 양성, 취재 현장에서의 언론인 권익 보호 등에 힘쓰고 있다.
협회는 급변하는 미디어 환경 속에서 현장 기자 중심의 연대와 전문성 강화가 지역 저널리즘의 지속 가능성을 좌우한다고 보고 있다. 이번 정기총회를 계기로 지역 언론인 간 협력 체계를 더욱 공고히 하고, 지역 행정과 의정활동에 대한 감시·평가 기능을 강화해 나간다는 방침이다.
