【브레이크뉴스 대구】이성현 기자= 대구경북인터넷기자협회(회장, 브레이크뉴스 대구경북 이성현 본부장, 이하 협회) 는 2024년을 빛낸 대구,경북 지역의 우수 광역의원으로 경북도의회 이동업, 정경민, 대구시의회 이재숙, 김정옥 의원을 선정했다. 

지난 17일 협회는 대구 엑스코에서 ‘2024정기총회 및 광역우수의원’ 시상식을 통해 선정된 의원들의 노고를 걱려했다.

대구경북인터넷기자협회는 매년 대구경북지역의 광역의원을 대상으로 조례, 출석, 5분 발언 및 시도정질의, 그리고 주민과의 소통과 정책 아젠다, 예결산 현안 질의 등을 중심으로 정량적 평가를 거친 뒤, 압축된 후보를 대상으로 다시 협회 소속 회원들이 인성, 소통, 행감 내용 등을 기준으로 정성적 평가를 실시해 최종 후보자를 선정한다. 특히, 협회는 평가의 객관성, 공정성을 기하기 위해 정량평가 자체를 외부 기관에 의뢰해 실시했다. 

이동업 의원은 제12대 경북도의회 후반기 문화환경위원회 위원장, 경북대구행정통합특별위원회 위원으로 왕성한 의정활동을 펼치고 있다. 특히 지난 11일 경북도의회 제351회 제2차 정례회에서 ‘경북도 북한이탈주민의 정착지원에 관한 조례 일부개정조례안’을 발의했다.

이로 인해 북한이탈주민을 고용한 사업체의 생산품에 대해 우선 구매함으로써 모범 사업주 제품의 구매를 촉진하고 판로를 지원함으로써 기업 경쟁력 향상과 북한이탈주민들의 고용 창출 효과를 도모할 수 있는 계기를 마련했다는 평가를 받고 있다.

이동업 의원은 “도민들을 위해 활발한 의정활동을 펼치라는 채찍질로 받아들이고, 더 낮은 자세로 현장의 작은 목소리도 경청하고 소통하는 의정활동을 펼치겠다”며 각오를 밝혔다.

 정경민 의원은 문화환경위원회 부위원장으로 ‘경북도 문화소외계층 청소는 문화예술 활동 지원 조례안’을 발의해 문화 소외 청소년들의 문화예술 향유 및 참여 기회 확대를 위해 노력했으며 ‘경북도 개인형 이동장치 이용 안전 증진 조례’를 개정해 개인형 이동장치의 안전한 이용환경 조성 및 올바른 이용문화 확산에 기여했다고 평가받고 있다. 무엇보다 줄줄 새 나가는 문화 관련 예산의 심도 있는 점검과 대책 주문, 도 산하기관의 방만한 운영 등에 대하여 경종을 울리는 의정활동을펼치고 있다.

정 의원은 “오늘 이 자리에 경상북도의회 문화환경위원회 위원장과 부위원장이 동시에 수상하게 돼 기쁘다”라며 “특히 외부기관의 객관적 평가를 통해 우수의원으로 선정된 만큼 더욱더 책임감을 느끼며 정책과 예산이 지역에 도움이 되고 성과를 낼 수 있도록 도정의 감시자 역할을 충실히 하겠다”라고 수상 소감을 밝혔다.

 대구시의회 이재숙 문화복지위원장은 동구의회에서 갈고 닦은 실력으로 일찌감치 수상 대상자로 눈길을 받아왔다. 그는 제9대 대구광역시의회 후반기 문화복지위원회 부위원장, 대구경북신공항건설특별위원회 위원장, 운영위원회 위원으로 왕성한 의정활동을 전개해 왔다. 특히 지난 12일 제313회 정례회 제3차 본회의에서 5분 자유발언을 통해 청소년 자살 예방을 위한 실효성 있는 대책 마련을 제안해 눈길을 끌었다.

이재숙 의원은 “앞으로도 대구시의 정책과 예산이 지역에 도움이 되고 성과를 낼 수 있도록 시정의 감시자 역할을 충실히 하겠다”라며 “오늘 받은 이상의 무게만큼 열심히 하라는 의미 알고 더 나은 정책 발굴에도 힘을 쏟겠다”라고 밝혔다

 김정옥 의원은 제9대 대구시의회 후반기 건설교통위원회 부위원장, 예산결산특별위원회 위원, 맑은물공급추진특별위원회 위원으로 왕성한 활동을 전개해 왔다. 특히 지난 제313회 정례회에서 ‘대구시 초고층 건축물 등의 재난 및 안전관리 조례안’을 대표 발의했다.

이번 조례로 인해 초고층 건축물과 지하 연계 복합 건축물이 크게 늘어남에 따라 발생할 수 있는 각종 재난으로부터 공공의 안전을 확보하데 기여했다고 평가받고 있다.

김정옥 의원은 “대구경북인터넷기자협회에서 선정한 광역우수의원이라 더욱 의미가 크고 책임감을 느낀다”면서 “시민들을 위해 활발한 의정활동을 펼치라는 채찍질로 받아들이고, 더 낮은 자세로 현장의 작은 목소리도 경청하고 소통하는 의정활동을 펼치겠다”라고 말했다.

In particular, he proposed the ‘Partial Amendment Ordinance on the Ordinance on Settlement Support for North Korean Defectors in Gyeongbuk Province’ at the 351st 2nd regular session of the Gyeongbuk Provincial Assembly on the 11th.

As the vice-chairman of the Culture and Environment Committee, Assemblyman Jeong Gyeong-min proposed the ‘Gyeongbuk-do Culturally Underprivileged Class Cleanup Cultural and Artistic Activities Support Ordinance’ to expand opportunities for culturally underprivileged youth to enjoy and participate in culture and art, and is evaluated to have contributed to creating a safe environment for the use of personal mobility devices and spreading proper usage culture by revising the ‘Gyeongbuk-do Personal Mobility Device Safety Promotion Ordinance’. Daegu City Council Culture and Welfare Committee Chairperson Lee Jae-sook has been drawing attention as a candidate for the award early on due to her skills honed at the Dong-gu Council. He has been actively engaged in legislative activities as the Vice Chairman of the Culture and Welfare Committee of the 9th Daegu Metropolitan City Council in the latter half of the term, the Chairman of the Daegu-Gyeongbuk New Airport Construction Special Committee, and a member of the Steering Committee. In particular, he attracted attention by proposing effective measures to prevent youth suicide through a 5-minute free speech at the 3rd plenary session of the 313th regular session on the 12th.

Proportional representative Assemblywoman Kim Jeong-ok has been actively engaged in legislative activities as the Vice Chairman of the Construction and Transportation Committee, a member of the Budget and Settlement Special Committee, and a member of the Clean Water Supply Promotion Special Committee in the latter half of the 9th Daegu City Council. In particular, she proposed the ‘Daegu City High-rise Buildings Disaster and Safety Management Ordinance’ at the 313th regular session.

This ordinance is evaluated to have contributed to securing public safety from various disasters that may occur due to the significant increase in high-rise buildings and underground complex buildings.

Assemblywoman Kim Jeong-ok said, “I feel a greater sense of responsibility and meaning as I have been selected as an excellent regional assembly member by the Daegu-Gyeongbuk Internet Reporters Association,” and added, “I will accept it as a spur to actively engage in parliamentary activities for the citizens, and I will engage in parliamentary activities that listen to and communicate with even the smallest voices from the field with a more humble attitude.”
