한편, 추경호 의원은 1일 경북 구미에서 열린 ‘2026 구미 박정희 마라톤 대회’에 참석해 대구·경북 행정통합 추진 의지를 밝혔다. 이번 대회는 박정희 전 대통령의 업적을 기리기 위해 열린 행사로, 풀·하프·10㎞·5㎞ 등 4개 종목에 1만6,593명이 참가했다.
