이번 이벤트는 대구광역시장과 대구광역시교육감, 구청장·군수에게 바라는 공약을 시민들이 직접 제안하는 방식으로 진행된다. 대구시민이면 누구나 오는 4월 17일까지 안내된 QR코드에 접속해 희망 공약을 작성·제출하는 방법으로 참여할 수 있다.

대구시선관위는 이벤트 참여자 가운데 추첨을 통해 100명을 선정해 2만 원 상당의 모바일 상품권을 제공할 예정이다. 수집된 희망공약은 지방선거 후보자 대담·토론회 등에서 정책 의제로 활용될 계획이다.

다만 동일한 내용을 반복 입력하거나 개인적인 민원·탄원, 특정 정당이나 후보자를 비방하거나 지지·옹호하는 내용은 추첨 대상에서 제외된다.
