공사는 참사랑봉사단 시설기계지부에서 추진하고 있는‘DTRO하우스 주거개선사업’으로 공모에 참가해 이번 상을 수상했다.

‘DTRO하우스 주거개선사업’은 지역 내 홀몸 어르신 세대를 대상으로 도배, 장판, 창틀, 담장 등을 개‧보수하여 열악한 주거 환경을 개선하는 재능 나눔 봉사 활동으로, 2010년 DTRO하우스 1호를 시작으로 현재까지 626호를 달성했다.

대구도시철도공사 사장 홍승활은“앞으로도 소외된 이웃에 대한 적극적인 봉사활동으로 지역사회에 온기를 더함과 동시에 지역 최대 공기업으로서 사회적 가치 실현을 위해 더욱 노력하겠다“라고 말했다.
