【브레이크뉴스 경북 칠곡】이성현 기자=경북과학대학교(총장 김현정)는 간호학과 RCY동아리 단원이 지난 10월과 11월 대한적십자사 경북지사 주최로 온라인으로 진행된 ‘안전 UCC대회’에 코로나19 예방법과 관련된 영상으로 참가해 최우수상(소방청장상)과 함께 부상으로 드로잉 패드를 수상했다고 29일 밝혔다.

시상식은 코로나19로 인해 지난 28일 간호학과 회의실에서 최우수상을 수상한 학생 4명에게 전수됐다.

최우수상 수상자는 경북과학대 간호학과 1학년 박혜미 학생과 3학년 김민지, 박윤아, 정혜리 학생이다.

‘안전 UCC대회’에서 간호학과 학생들은 코로나19 예방에 있어 가장 중요한 올바른 마스크 착용법과 사회적 거리두기, 손 씻기 등 개인 방역수칙 안내, 코로나19 증상 및 자가격리 시 준수 사항 등을 시연 등으로 알기 쉽게 표현했다.

경북과학대 간호학과 정윤화 교수는 “코로나19로 그 어느 때보다 감염병 예방에 대한 관심이 높아진 시기에 우리 학생들이 비대면 경진대회에서 좋은 성적을 거둬 큰 자부심을 느낀다”며 “학생들에게 전공 지식과 함께 생명존중과 희생정신, 안전의식의 중요성을 심어주기 위해 더욱 노력하겠다”고 전했다.
