【브레이크뉴스 경북】이성현 기자=경북도립대학교(총장 김상동)는 8일 본교 청남교육관에서 총장, 조흥구 경북농민사관학교장을 비롯한 교육생, 보직교수 등 40여 명이 참석한 가운데‘2021년 경북농민사관학교 한우사양관리과정 개강식’을 개최했다고 밝혔다.
이번 한우사양관리과정은 2012년부터 현재까지 10년간 330여명의 교육생이수료하여 도내 한우 경쟁력 강화에 이바지 하고 있으며 경북도립대학교 평생교육원에서 위탁운영 하는 과정으로경북 도내 한우사육농가에서 한우사양 기술 향상을 희망하는 도민30여명을 대상으로 운영한다.
교육기간은 3월부터 12월까지 주 1회, 경북도립대학교 강의동과 영주실습장에서 한우 개량 기술, 사양 관리 기술, 번식 기술 등의 교육과정으로 운영한다.
김상동 총장은 이날 인사말을 통해 “2021년 경북한우사양관리과정이 지역 한우 농가의 소득증대를 위해 급속히 변화하는 환경에 발맞춰 한우농가를 비롯한 경북 한우산업의 경쟁력 강화·발전을 위한 도약의 기회가 될 것이며, 우리 대학교에서도 교육생들에게 유익한 정보와 기술 제공을 위해 최선을 다해 노력하겠다.”고 말했다.
조흥구 학교장은 축사에서 “한우농가에 대한 관심이 갈수록 높아지고 있으며 미래의 축산 환경 변화를 반영할 미래형 선진 축산 기틀이 되길 바라며 “경북한우사양관리과정을 시작으로 한우사양기술 향상과 농가 소득증대의 꿈을 이루길 바란다”고 말했다.
