경북도립대학교(총장 김상동) 응급구조과가 2021년 제27회 1급 응급구조사 국가시험에서 93.3%의 합격률을 기록했다.

경북도립대의 합격률은 전국평균 합격률 75.1%를 훨씬 웃도는 기록으로 전국 41개 대학의 응급구조과 중 최상위권에 해당하는 쾌거로 알려진다.

이는 경북도립대 응급구조과가 1급 응급구조사 국가시험 및 현장실무를 대비한 동·하계 특강, 선후배 멘토링, 야간자습 등 체계적인 학습 프로그램 운영을 통해 이뤄낸 결과이다.

경북도립대학교 응급구조과는 학과 개설 이래 지난 2020년까지 전국 최초로 8년 연속 1급 응급구조사 국가시험 100% 전원 합격을 달성하는 한편 졸업생 중 2020년까지 최종적으로 해양 경찰공무원 6명, 소방 구급직 공무원 1명의 합격자를 배출하는 성과로 눈길을 끌어왔다.
