【브레이크뉴스 대구】진예솔 기자=경북도립대학교(총장 김상동) 창업보육센터가 ‘2022년 경상북도 우수창업보육센터 시상식’에서 우수상을 차지했다.
경상북도는 매년 도내 24개 창업보육센터를 대상으로 센터 역량, 특화전략, 우수사례 등의 사업 지표를 평가한 뒤 우수 센터를 선정하고 시상한다.
올해는 7개의 센터가 우수 센터로 선정된 가운데 경북도립대학교 창업보육센터는 지난해에 이어 올해도 우수상을 수상함으로써 6년 연속 수상의 영예를 안았다.
경북도립대학교 창업보육센터의 입주기업 대부분은 지역 농산물을 이용한 6차 산업 창업기업이다.
센터는 입주기업을 대상으로 내부 자원뿐만 아니라 외부 창업 유관기관과 연계한 마케팅, 수출, 투자, 사업화, 자금 유치 등 기업 맞춤형 프로그램을 지원하고 있으며, 이 같은 노력을 통해 지난해 기준 센터에 입주한 9개 기업 총매출액이 68억 원(전년 대비 약 68% 상승)을 달성하기도 했다.
권용수 센터장은 “검증된 창업보육 역량과 체계적인 창업지원을 통해 앞으로도 입주기업 지원에 최선을 다해 우리 지역의 일자리와 경제발전에 기여하겠다”고 말했다.

Most of the resident companies of the Gyeongbuk Provincial University Incubation Center are start-ups in the 6th industry using local agricultural products.
The center supports not only internal resources for resident companies but also company-specific programs such as marketing, export, investment, commercialization, and funding attraction in connection with external start-up organizations. Total sales also reached KRW 6.8 billion (a 68% increase from the previous year).
Kwon Yong-soo, head of the center, said, "Through proven business incubation capabilities and systematic start-up support, we will continue to do our best to support resident companies and contribute to job creation and economic development in our region."
