【브레이크뉴스 대구】진예솔 기자= 경북도립대학교(총장 김상동) 창업보육센터가 중소벤처기업부 장관상 수상소식을 전했다.

경북도립대가 지난 9일, 서울 중소기업중앙회 KBIZ홀에서 열린 ‘창업보육센터 비전 선포식’에서 중소벤처기업부 장관상을 수상했다고 밝혔다.

한국창업보육협회가 주최한 이번 행사는 국내 창업보육센터가 창출한 성과를 재조명하면서 새로운 도약과 성장을 위한 비전을 선포하고 창업보육 발전에 기여한 유공자 및 기관을 시상하고자 마련되었다.

이 가운데 경북도립대 창업보육센터는 지역을 기반으로 한 창업기업을 발굴·육성하여 지역에 잘 정착할 수 있도록 유도하면서 지역의 일자리를 늘리고 지역경제 활성화에 이바지한 점을 높게 평가받아 장관상을 수상하게 되었다.

앞서 센터는 올해 중소벤처기업부 경영평가에서도 최우수 등급, 경상북도 평가에서도 우수등급을 받아 우수한 보육시스템을 대외적으로 인정받은 바 있다.

경북도립대학교 권용수 창업보육센터장은 “앞으로도 지역을 기반으로 하는 스타트업을 집중 발굴·육성하여 지역 일자리와 경제 발전에 기여할 수 있도록 최선을 다하겠다.”라고 말했다.

Gyeongbuk Provincial University announced that it was awarded the Minister of SMEs and Startups Award at the 'Business Incubation Center Vision Proclamation Ceremony' held at the KBIZ Hall of the Korea Federation of Small and Medium Business in Seoul on the 9th.

This event, hosted by the Korea Business Incubation Association, was prepared to shed light on the achievements of domestic business incubation centers, declare a vision for a new leap and growth, and award meritorious persons and organizations that contributed to the development of business incubation.

Among them, the Gyeongbuk Provincial University Business Incubation Center discovered and nurtured local start-ups, encouraged them to settle down well in the region, increased jobs in the region, and contributed to revitalizing the local economy, and received the Minister's Award.

Prior to this year, the center received the highest grade in the management evaluation of the Ministry of SMEs and Startups and an excellent grade in the evaluation of Gyeongsangbuk-do, and was recognized externally for its excellent childcare system.

Gyeongbuk Provincial University Business Incubation Center Director Kwon Yong-soo said, “We will continue to do our best to contribute to local jobs and economic development by intensively discovering and nurturing local startups.”
