대구사이버대학교(총장 이근용)가 전국의 대학으로는 처음으로 CJ ENM의 1인 미디어 창작 지원사업 '다이아 티비(DIA TV)'와 파트너십을 체결했다. 이로써 온라인 고등교육의 대중화와 평생교육의 저변 확대를 위한 대구사이버대학교의 본격적인 활동이 기대된다.
대구사이버대는 유튜브 채널 ‘대구사이버대학교TV’를 통해 다양한 지식과 학술적 정보 제공은 물론 온라인 고등 교육과 평생교육에 대한 배움의 가치 등을 시청자들에게 전해오고 있다. 최근에는 코로나19로 인한 대학 교육 서비스의 질적 향상을 위해 온라인 라이브 플랫폼을 활용하는 등 시청자들과 적극적인 소통이 눈에 띄고 있다.
특히, 대구사이버대학교는 2018년부터 최근까지 다이아 티비와 함께 경상북도 청년 크리에이터를 육성하며 지역 청년 실업 문제 해결을 위해서도 앞장서고 있는데, 이 사업을 통해 발굴된 인플루언서로 지현꿍, 유이즈, 호주타잔 등이 대표적으로 손꼽힌다. 올해도 모집을 시작한 이 육성사업은 지자체와 대학, 기업이 성공 협업한 대표적 크리에이터 육성교육 모범사례로 널리 회자되고 있다.
