【브레이크뉴스 포항】박영재 기자=유성찬 포항시장예비후보는 25일 포항의 문화예술 정책에 관한 공약을 발표했다.

유 예비후보는  “먼저 꿈틀로 문화예술창작지구를 일제강점기, 1950~70년대 시대적 배경을 한 영화 세트 양식으로 변모시킬 계획을 추진할 것이며, 리모델링을 통해서, 문화예술인들이 일상적으로 창작하고 생활하는 지역이면서도, 영화와 드라마를 언제든지 촬영할 수 있는 영화.드라마세트 구역으로 만들겠다”고 밝혔다.

이어 “포항시 문화예술과 내에 영화.드라마제작유치지원팀을 활성화시켜 더욱 적극적으로 영화드라마제작을 유치할 수 있도록 하고, 장래에는 영화드라마제작지원센터가 설치되도록 추진 하겟다” 고 피력했다.

또 유 예비후보는 “포항 문화예술인의 자발적인 참여와 아이디어로 포항만의 특색있는 문화예술계를 발전시켜 나가야 한다는 기본적인 철학이 있다” 며 “이를 추진하기 위해서는 문화예술인이 가난하지 않고 기본생활이 되도록 하는 사회적 경제정책을 확실하게 안착시키고자 할 것이다” 고 말했다.

마지막으로 “문화예술인 사회적 협동조합에 대한 지원을 강화시켜 포항에 문화예술인들이 찾아오고 정착할 수 있는 사회적 토대를 만들고자 한다” 고 했다.

유 예비후보는 현재 경주대학교 경주대학교 로고스컬리지 초빙교수이며, 젊은 시절에는 서울 종로직업소년야간학교에서 교무주임으로 야학을 운영했었고, 더 나은 미래를 만드는 KYC한국청년연합 포항지부 공동대표, 지역 월간지 월간 경북 편집장 등을 역임했으며 현재 협동조합 지속가능사회연구소 소장으로 재직중이다.

Candidate Yoo is currently a visiting professor at Gyeongju University Logos College, Gyeongju University. When he was young, he ran a night school as a teaching assistant at Jongno Vocational Boys Night School in Seoul. He served as the editor-in-chief of Gyeongsangbuk-do and is currently the director of the Institute for Sustainable Society of Cooperatives.
