시에 따르면 3년 만에 대면축제로 돌아오는 2022 김천자두축제는 김천자두축제추진위원회 주관“자두랑 만나, 자두가 맛나!!”라는 슬로건으로 남녀노소 전 세대가 즐길 수 있는 대화합의 축제로 열릴 예정이다.

첫날인 24일에는 관내 어린이집, 유치원생을 대상으로 부항댐 줍줍 챌린지를 시간대별 100명씩 진행하고 축제 기간 중 하루 2회 부항댐 물놀이구역에서 ‘황금자두를 잡아라!!’이벤트가 진행된다.
