이날 행사에는 이유경 구매본부장을 비롯해 설비·자재·원료 분야 58개 공급사 대표 등 총 68명이 참석해 포스코 공급망의 미래 발전 방향과 협력 방안을 논의했다.

간담회는 ‘판을 바꾸는 혁신’을 주제로 진행됐다. 포스코는 급변하는 글로벌 경영 환경에 대응하기 위해 공급망 전반의 체질 개선이 필요하다는 인식 아래, 2026년 구매 추진 방향을 공유하고 공급사와 함께 실질적인 혁신 과제를 모색했다.

이날 우수 공급사로 선정된 2개 기업은 혁신 사례를 발표하며 상생 모델을 제시했다. 조선내화는 ‘탄소중립 선도플랜트 사업’ 추진 사례를 통해 제조 공정의 지속가능성 확보 방안을 소개했으며, 발전설비 전문기업 BHI는 글로벌 시장 개척 성공 사례를 공유하며 위기를 기회로 전환한 전략과 실행력을 설명했다.

이유경 구매본부장은 “포스코의 경쟁력은 곧 공급사의 경쟁력에서 비롯된다”며 “포스코와 공급사가 원팀(One-Team)으로 협업해 공급망 전체의 가치를 높이는 혁신을 이루자”고 강조했다.

행사에 참석한 한 공급사 대표는 “미래 전략에 대한 공감대를 강화하고 상호 신뢰를 다지는 계기가 됐다”며 “포스코의 실질적 파트너로서 기술·경영 혁신에 더욱 박차를 가하겠다”고 밝혔다.

한편 포스코는 포항·광양 산업위기 선제대응 지역 지정과 연계해 동반성장 활동을 강화할 계획이다. 단순한 물품 조달 관계를 넘어 탄소중립과 디지털 전환 등 시대적 과제를 파트너사와 공동 대응하며 지속가능한 동반성장 생태계를 구축해 나간다는 방침이다.

The two companies selected as outstanding suppliers presented their innovation cases and proposed models for mutual growth. Chosun Refractories presented its strategy for ensuring sustainability in its manufacturing process through the "Carbon Neutral Pilot Plant Project." BHI, a power plant specialist, shared its successful case study of pioneering global markets and explained its strategy and execution for turning crises into opportunities.
