포스코그룹은 22일 장인화 회장 주재로 ‘그룹 안전 특별점검회의’를 열고 각 사업장의 긴급 안전점검 결과를 공유하며 안전 관리 혁신 방안을 논의했다. 회의에는 김성호 포스코 노조위원장을 비롯해 10개 계열사 대표, 그룹안전특별진단TF 외부 자문위원 등이 참석했다.

이날 회의에서는 18일부터 운영 중인 **‘통합 안전제보 시스템’**을 소개하며, 작업자가 현장의 위험을 즉시 제보할 수 있도록 참여를 독려했다.

장인화 회장은 “모든 임직원이 재해 예방의 주체이자 서로의 보호자가 되어야 한다”며 “안전 전문회사와 산재가족돌봄재단 설립 등 현재 추진 중인 안전 관리 혁신 과제를 차질 없이 조속히 수행해 달라”고 강조했다.

앞서 20일에는 포스코 본사에서 ‘CEO와 함께하는 안전공감 토크’ 간담회가 열렸다. 현장 직원 80여 명은 안전 독립기구 신설, 안전문화 확산을 위한 포상제도 확대 등 다양한 의견을 제시했다. 장 회장은 “오늘의 안전이 우리의 내일을 지킨다”며 “CEO인 나부터 현장 중심의 안전문화 정착에 앞장서겠다”고 말했다.

또한 장 회장은 지난 14일 유럽의 글로벌 안전 컨설팅·인증 전문 기업을 방문해 최신 안전 관리 기법과 정책을 직접 벤치마킹하고, 향후 협력 방안을 논의했다. 그룹은 글로벌 안전 전문기관과의 협업을 강화해 선진 안전관리 체계를 도입할 계획이다.
