Gyeongbuk Content Korea Lab, Content Creation Education Program Completed
The Gyeongbuk Cultural Foundation Content Promotion Agency (Director Lee Jong-soo, hereinafter referred to as the Promotion Agency) successfully concluded the Gyeongbuk Content Korea Lab Content Creation Education Program, which was conducted for approximately 6 months from May, on November 19, producing a total of 438 trainees.
This program is a process to discover and foster content creators through various education in the content field for prospective creators and Gyeongbuk residents in the Gyeongbuk region.
The detailed process was conducted in three areas: △Imagination TALK △Content School △Content Lab. ‘Imagination TALK’ is an insight lecture that invites prominent figures in the cultural content field to increase understanding of content and help with idea generation. In addition, ‘Content School’ is a process that visits elementary, middle, and high schools in Gyeongbuk and conducts various content education that is not easily accessible in the ordinary way. ‘Content Lab’ conducted a total of 26 lectures divided into the areas of story, tech, media, design, and content creation.
This year, Insight Special Lecture ‘Imagination TALK’ was held three times, starting with YouTuber Mimi Minu with 1.51 million subscribers, followed by webtoon writer Kim Bo-tong and cellist Jo Yoon-kyung (Cello House). It received a great response with a total of 3,470 participants online and offline.
‘Content School’ organized educational programs focusing on promising content fields such as emoticons, webtoons, YouTube, and short-form production, and had time to improve content production and creative skills of students in the Gyeongbuk region. It was held 18 times at 8 schools including Pohang Guryongpo Middle School, and about 350 students showed their passion for content creation.
‘Content Lab’, which provides experience and knowledge of basic content creation programs to Gyeongbuk residents from elementary school students to seniors, operated various curricula by field according to the age and needs of the students, showing high satisfaction.
In particular, the senior kiosk utilization course held at the Yeongdeok Goraesan Village auditorium received a hot response. Seniors who had difficulty using kiosks in their daily lives, such as those in restaurants or movie theaters, showed great satisfaction after learning how to use them. In addition, a digital drawing emoticon production program was conducted for elementary school students from multicultural families in cooperation with the Gyeongsan City Family Center. These training programs were designed to provide content education opportunities to groups that are relatively vulnerable to enjoying cultural content based on the Promotion Agency’s ESG management philosophy.
Promotion Agency Director Lee Jong-soo said, “Gyeongbuk Content Korea Lab provides multi-layered education services for all generations of Gyeongbuk residents, from elementary school students to seniors,” and “Through this, we will strive to activate a sustainable content creation ecosystem and discover creators.” <저작권자 ⓒ 브레이크뉴스 대구경북 무단전재 및 재배포 금지>
