iM뱅크에 따르면 ‘대한민국 디지털경영혁신대상’은 과학기술정보통신부가 주최하고, 한국빅데이터학회와 정보통신산업진흥원이 주관하며 디지털 전환(Digital Transformation)을 통해 새로운 통찰력과 가치를 창출하는 우수한 기관과 기업에게 시상하는 행사다.

iM뱅크는 시중·지방은행의 정통성과 인터넷전문은행의 강점을 결합한 ‘New Hybrid Bank(뉴 하이브리드 뱅크)’전략을 통해 다양한 디지털 금융 플랫폼 사업을 추진한 성과를 인정 받아 수상의 영광을 안았다.

먼저 대학생 스마트캠퍼스 플랫폼 플랫폼 ‘iM uniz(아이엠 유니즈)’를 출시하여 모바일 학생증(신분증), 전자 출결, 주요 학사 공지 push 알림 서비스, 시설물 예약 등 학교 생활에 필요한 기능을 하나의 플랫폼에서 이용할 수 있는 앱을 제공하기 시작한 것이 높이 평가 받았다

‘핀테크 상생은행’으로 브랜드 가치를 제고하고 스타트업 기업과 함께하고자 하는 노력도 지속하고 있다. iM뱅크(아이엠뱅크)의 핀테크 스타트업 육성 프로그램인 ‘피움랩’을 통해서 지난 5년간 48개의 스타트업 기업을 육성하고 그룹 계열사와 협업할 기회를 제공하였으며 전문 분야 컨설팅을 지원했다.
