【브레이크뉴스 경북】이성현 기자=경북교육청(교육감 임종식)은 5일 경상북도교육청 누리집을 통해 2025학년도 공립 유치원․초등학교․특수학교(유치원․초등) 교사 임용후보자 선정경쟁시험 최종합격자를 발표했다.

경북교육청에 따르면 최종합격자는 모집 분야별로 유치원 18명과 초등학교 293명, 특수학교(유치원․초등) 26명 등 총 337명이다.

졸업생과 졸업예정자의 합격 비율을 살펴보면 졸업생이 53.7%로 지난해(50.9%)에 비해 증가했으며, 분야별로는 유치원이 100%(18명)로 가장 높은 비율을 기록했으며, 이어 특수학교(초등) 71.4%(15명), 초등학교 50.2%(147명), 특수학교(유치원) 20%(1명) 순으로 나타났다.

전체 합격자 중 남성은 136명(40.4%), 여성은 201명(59.6%)으로 집계됐다. 초등학교 교사 합격자의 경우 남성이 44.7%(131명), 여성 55.3%(162명)로 여성 비율이 다소 높게 나타났다.

최종합격자는 2월 10일부터 21일까지 경상북도교육청연수원에서 신규 임용 예정자 직무연수를 이수한 뒤, 오는 3월 1일부터 순차적으로 임용될 예정이다.

한편, 경북교육청은 2026년도 초등교사 임용 후보자 선정 경쟁시험부터 ‘지역우선전형’을 도입할 예정이다. 이 방식의 응시 자격과 시험 방법은 일반 채용 전형과 동일하나, 비선호 근무 지역에 일정 기간(8년 근속) 의무 복무를 조건으로 한 전형이다.

경북교육청은 2026년 지역우선전형을 통해 10명 내외의 초등교사를 선발할 예정으로, 이를 통해 비선호 지역에 신규 교사가 계속 발령 나는 악순환을 해소하고, 향후 효과 검증을 거쳐 중등 임용제로도 확대할 계획이다.
