특히, 맞춤형 제작 사업은 지난해에 이어 연속적으로 수행되며, 2024년에는 156명의 대상자에게 서비스를 제공, 높은 이용자 만족도를 기록한 바 있다. 이에 따라 2025년에는 더욱 확대된 지원을 통해 보조기기 서비스의 접근성을 높이고, 이용자들의 생활 편의성을 증진할 것으로 기대된다.
송병섭 경상북도보조기기센터장은 “이번 특성화 사업을 통해 장애인과 노인의 경제적 부담을 줄이고 보조기기에 대한 접근성을 향상시키는 데 기여할 것”이라며, “앞으로 맞춤형 보조기기 지원을 강화하여 보다 많은 사람들이 혜택을 받을 수 있도록 노력하겠다”라고 말했다.
한편, ‘장애인노인 자립생활 지원 보조기기 실용화 연구개발사업’도 지난해 선정되어 올해 2차 연도 사업으로 진행된다. 이를 통해 일상생활에 필요한 보조기기를 연구개발하고 실용화하여 보급할 계획이다.
