【브레이크뉴스 대구】이성현 기자=한국교육학술정보원(원장 정제영, 이하 케리스)과 한국정보교육학회(회장 마대성)가 디지털‧정보 교육 분야의 발전과 연구 성과 확산을 위해 뜻을 모았다. 양 기관은 지난 5월 28일(수), 디지털‧정보 역량 강화를 위한 업무 협약(MOU)을 체결했다.

이번 협약을 통해 케리스와 한국정보교육학회는 디지털 전환 시대에 발맞춰 정보 교육의 기반을 다지고, 교육 현장에서 실질적으로 활용 가능한 프로그램과 콘텐츠를 공동 개발해 나갈 계획이다.

양 기관은 향후 △디지털‧정보 교육 역량 함양을 위한 교육 프로그램 공동 기획 및 운영 △세미나 및 포럼 공동 개최 등 협력사업을 추진하며, 디지털 교육 생태계 조성에 박차를 가할 예정이다.

2016년 설립된 한국정보교육학회는 정보 교육 분야의 학술적 기반을 다지는 데 주력해 왔으며, 정보 교육과정의 표준화와 현장 교사 대상 디지털 교육 도구 보급 등 실천적 활동도 활발히 펼치고 있다.

한편 케리스는 ‘디지털 교육혁신을 선도하는 미래교육 파트너’를 비전으로, 인공지능(AI), 신기술 실증, 소프트웨어 교육 등 다양한 디지털 교육 연구와 포럼 운영을 통해 미래교육 체제 구축에 앞장서고 있다.

정제영 케리스 원장은 “정보 교육은 인공지능 시대를 살아갈 아이들의 미래 역량과 직결된 핵심 분야”라며 “이번 협약을 계기로 양 기관이 긴밀히 협력해 디지털 교육 혁신과 정보 교육의 질적 도약을 이끌어나가겠다”고 밝혔다.

Korea Education and Research Information Service (President Jeong Je-young, hereinafter referred to as KERIS) and Korea Information Education Society (President Ma Dae-seong) have joined forces to advance digital and information education and spread research results. On May 28 (Wednesday), the two organizations signed a business agreement (MOU) to strengthen digital and information capabilities.

Through this agreement, KERIS and Korea Information Education Society plan to solidify the foundation of information education in line with the digital transformation era and jointly develop programs and content that can be practically utilized in the educational field.

In the future, the two organizations plan to promote cooperative projects such as △joint planning and operation of educational programs to foster digital and information education capabilities and △joint hosting of seminars and forums, and to spur the creation of a digital education ecosystem.

The Korean Society for Information Education, established in 2016, has focused on establishing an academic foundation in the field of information education, and is also actively engaged in practical activities such as standardizing information education curricula and distributing digital education tools to teachers in the field.

Meanwhile, Keris is taking the lead in establishing a future education system through various digital education research and forum operations such as artificial intelligence (AI), new technology verification, and software education, with the vision of being a ‘future education partner leading digital education innovation.’

President Jeong Je-yeong of Keris said, “Information education is a core field directly related to the future capabilities of children who will live in the AI ​​era,” and added, “Through this agreement, the two organizations will closely cooperate to lead digital education innovation and qualitative leaps in information education.”
