【브레이크뉴스 대구】이성현 기자=동북지방통계청(청장 송영선)은 11일 대구·경북권에서 '2025 인구주택총조사 및 농림어업총조사' 지역관리부 출범 현판식을 갖고, 총조사 준비에 본격 착수했다.

이번 총조사는 통계청 주관으로 각 지자체와 협력해 진행되며, 대구·경북권 지역관리부는 조사원 교육·안전 관리, 홍보 활동 등 조사 수행 전반을 지원한다.

인구주택총조사는 11월 1일부터 18일까지 약 3천여 명의 조사원이 대구·경북지역 약 55만 가구를 방문하며, 10월 22일부터는 인터넷과 전화로 사전 참여가 가능하다. 농림어업총조사는 12월 1일부터 22일까지 약 2천 5백여 명이 36만 가구를 대상으로 진행된다.

송영선 청장은 “5년마다 실시되는 총조사는 국가와 지자체 정책 수립의 기초자료로 활용된다”며 “지역사회의 적극적인 협조가 필요하다”고 당부했다.

The Northeastern Regional Statistics Office (Director Song Young-sun) held a ceremony to launch the regional management department for the 2025 Population, Housing, and Agriculture, Forestry, and Fisheries Census in the Daegu and North Gyeongsang Province region on the 11th, marking the official launch of preparations for the census.

This census will be conducted by Statistics Korea in collaboration with local governments. The Daegu and North Gyeongsang Province Regional Management Department will provide comprehensive support for the census, including census worker training, safety management, and public relations activities.

The Population and Housing Census will be conducted from November 1 to 18 by approximately 3,000 census workers, who will visit approximately 550,000 households in the Daegu and North Gyeongsang Province region. Pre-registration via the internet and telephone will be available starting October 22. The Agriculture, Forestry, and Fisheries Census will be conducted from December 1 to 22 by approximately 2,500 surveyors, targeting 360,000 households.
