【브레이크뉴스 대구】이성현 기자=대구와 경상북도의 취업 및 고용 동향이 상승한 것으로 나타났다. 동북지방통계청이 실시한 '2022 대구 경북고용동향 통계 자료'에 따르면 지난 해 8월 대비 두 도시 모두 취업률과 고용률이 상승한 것으로 나타났다.

대구시, 인구 감소세 여전 경제활동 인구 증가 

2022년 8월 대구광역시 15세 이상 인구는 207만 3천 명으로 전년 동월대비 1만 8천 명이 감소한 것으로 나타났다. 성별로는 남자가 100만 2천 명으로 8천 명이 줄었고, 여자는 107만 1천 명으로 9천 명이 감소했다.

경제활동인구는126만 5천 명으로전년 동월대비 3천 명이 증가했다. 성별로는 남자가 71만 2천 명으로 3천 명 감소했지만 여자는 55만 4천 명으로 6천명이 증가했다. 이들의 경제활동참가율은 61.0%, 전년 동월대비 0.6%p 상승했다. 남자가 71.1%로 0.4%p, 여자는51.7%로 1.0%p씩 각각 상승했다. 

취업자수는 8월 기준 123만 8천 명으로 전년 동월대비 1만 1천 명(0.9%) 증가했다. 성별로는 남자 69만 7천 명으로 5천명(0.8%),여자는 54만 1천 명으로 6천명(1.1%) 각각 증가했다. 이들이 취업한 산업분야를 살펴보면 사업․개인․공공서비스업(-1만 1천명), 도소매․숙박음식점업(-3천명)에서는 감소했다.

그러나 전기․운수․통신․금융업(1만 7천명), 건설업(6천명), 제조업(3천명)에서 증가했다. 그에 따라 고용률은 59.7%로 전년 동월대비 1.0%p 상승했다. 남자가 69.6%로 1.1%p, 여자는 50.5%로 1.0%p 각각 상승했다. 

실업자는 2만 7천 명으로 전년동월대비 8천명(-23.2%) 감소했다. 남자가 1만 5천 명으로 8천 명(-34.8%) 감소, 여자는 1만 2천 명으로 같았으며 그에 따른 실업률 역시 2.2%로 전년 동월대비 0.6%p 하락한 2.2%를 나타냈다.

경상북도의 경우, 15세이상 인구는 232만 8천명으로 전년 동월대비 2만명(0.9%) 증가했다. 성별로는 남자는 116만 6천명으로 1만 2천명(1.0%), 여자는 116만 2천명으로 8천명(0.7%) 각각 증가했다.

경제활동인구는151만 3천명으로전년동월대비 6만명(4.1%) 증가했고, 경제활동참가율은 65.0%로 이 역시 전년동월대비 2.1%p 상승했다. 성별로보면남자는 74.7%로 1.3%p, 여자는 55.3%로 2.8%p 상승했다. 

2022년 8월 취업자는 149만 1천명으로 전년 동월대비 5만 9천명(4.1%) 증가한 것으로 나타났다. 남자가 85만 7천명으로 2만 6천명(3.2%), 여자는 63만 4천명으로 3만 3천명(5.5%) 각각 증가했으며, 이들은 주로 사업․개인․공공서비스업(3만 2천명), 전기․운수․통신․금융업(1만 9천명), 제조업(1만 8천명)도소매․숙박음식점업(4천명)에 취업한 것으로 나타났다. 취업자가 늘면서 고용률도 상승했다. 고용률은 64.0%로 전년동월대비 2.0%p 상승했다.
