또 “학교에서 노동교육과 인권교육이 충분히 이뤄지지 않아 학생들이 자신의 권리와 대응 방법을 제대로 인식하지 못하고 있다”며 “현장 중심의 노동인권 교육이 반드시 필요하다”고 강조했다.
이 예비후보는 노동인권 교육 강화를 위한 구체적 방안으로 △노동인권교육 조례 제정 △학교 비정규직 노동자와의 정기 간담회 제도화 △노동인권주간 운영 △교육용 교재 개발 등을 제시했다.
그는 “청소년 노동인권 교육을 확대해 ‘일하는 청소년도 노동자’라는 사회적 인식을 확산하겠다”고 덧붙였다.
한편 이용기 예비후보는 중·고등학교에서 31년간 재직한 교사 출신으로, 전국교직원노동조합 경북지부장 등을 역임했다. 현재 전국교육자치혁신연대 공동대표와 경북혁신교육연구소 공감 소장을 맡고 있으며, ‘경북교육희망 2026’ 경선에서 민주진보 단일후보로 선출됐다.

Meanwhile, preliminary candidate Lee Yong-gi is a former teacher who worked in middle and high schools for 31 years and served as the head of the Gyeongbuk branch of the Korean Teachers and Education Workers Union (KTU). He currently serves as co-representative of the National Alliance for Educational Autonomy Innovation and as director of the Gyeongbuk Innovation Education Research Institute, Gonggam, and was selected as the unified democratic progressive candidate in the ‘Gyeongbuk Education Hope 2026’ primary.
