【브레이크뉴스 대구 】이성현 기자=3년 만에 한 자리에 모였다. DGB금융그룹은 지난 7~8일 김태오 회장을 포함한 그룹 경영진 및 시너지영업조직장 등이 참석한 가운데 ‘2022년 경영진 워크숍’을 개최했다.

이번 워크숍은 코로나19 발생 이후 3년 만에 처음으로 개최된  소통과 단합의 자리였다. 1박 2일로 실시된 이번 워크숍은 ‘작은 브랜드가 큰 브랜드를 이기는 방법’이라는 주제로 브랜드특강과 ‘기업문화 슬로건 I.M CEO’, ‘ONE DGB’, ‘퇴직직원 활용방안’ 등에 대한 소통식 인터뷰, 저녁만찬 토크콘서트 등이 진행됐다. 

2일차에는 경주 통일전에서 ‘리더십트립’을 통해 삼국통일을 이룬 힘의 원천인 신라 리더십에 대한 통찰에 대해 강의를 듣고, 이후 주상절리에서 ‘힐링코스’로 해변트레킹을 하며 마무리했다.

특히 3년 만에 한자리에 모인 워크숍을 기념하기 위해 임직원마다 다른 문구가 적힌 단체 티셔츠를 제공했다. 김태오 회장의 티셔츠에는 ‘WELCOME TO DGB’, 임성훈 DGB대구은행장은 ’#IM 소통왕‘, 홍원식 하이투자증권 대표는 ’#금융투자 Driver’ 등 위트 있는 메시지가 담겼다.

이날 김태오 회장은 “그룹의 지속 성장에 위협이 되는 대내외 불확실성에 대응하기 위해 정형화된 사고의 틀을 깨고 조직의 역량을 한곳으로 모아 새로운 관점에서 미래를 이끌어 가야 한다”며 “급변하는 경영환경 변화에 선제적으로 준비하고 항상 열린 관점에서 사고하며 능동적으로 대처하자”라고 강조했다.

그러면서 “파격적인 혁신의 아이콘으로 승승장구하던 넷플릭스는 혁신적인 성공을 언급한 지 6개월도 지나지 않아 구독자 급감, 주가 하락, 경쟁사 도전 등으로 어려움을 겪고 있다”며 “아무리 잘나가는 기업이라도 환경변화에 민첩하게 대응하지 못하면 언제라도 어려움에 봉착할 수 있음을 보여준다”고 덧붙였다.

김 회장은 또 경영진들에게 위기관리 능력을 높이고 내실경영에 집중할 것을 강조했다. 김 회장은 “성장보단 생존에 초점을 두고 철저한 리스크 관리와 안정적인 수익기반 확보에 집중해야 하며, 고객과 주주 및 투자자 등 다양한 이해관계자와 긴밀히 소통해 신뢰를 확보해야 한다”며 “중용의 가르침처럼 어려울수록 기본 가치에 충실하고 작은 것 하나부터 정성을 다한다면 고객은 감동할 것”이라고 말했다.

김 회장은 “득점왕은 혼자 힘으로 이뤄낸 게 아닌 팀워크와 동료들의 도움이 있었기에 가능했다”며 “더 큰 목표를 향해 이해와 배려로 계열사 간 또는 부서 간 협업은 물론이고 TK신공항 건설, 5대 첨단산업 육성, 글로벌 문화콘텐츠 도시 건설 등 대구시와 경상북도에서 추진하고 있는 경제정책에 대한 관심과 지원으로 외부와의 협업도 적극 이끌어내자“고 강조했다.

Chairman Kim also emphasized that management should improve their risk management skills and focus on substantial management.
