DGB사회공헌재단(이사장 김태오)은 28일 한국사회복지협의회(회장 서상목)와 취약계층 인식 제고 및 나눔문화 확산을 위한 업무협약을 맺고 ‘대학생 멘토링 지원사업’ 발대식을 진행했다고 밝혔다.

DGB사회공헌재단과 한국사회복지협의회는 이번 협약을 통해 취약계층 아동·청소년의 멘토링 사업과 지역 복지소외계층 발굴 및 지원, 사랑나눔펀드 추진, 사회공헌 파트너십 활성화 등을 위해 상호 협력하기로 했다.

 ESG 경영을 강화하기 위해 다양한 전공과 재능을 가진 대학생 동아리가 직접 멘토링 프로그램을 기획·운영하는 것을 지원하고 멘토링을 기반으로 계열사와 연계한 금융교육 등 사회공헌활동을 추진할 방침이다.

김태오 DGB금융그룹 회장은 "전국 규모의 사회공헌사업 추진이 활성화될 것으로 기대한다"며 "다양한 협력 사업을 통해 전국을 대표하는 기업으로써 ESG경영 실천에 최선을 다하겠다"고 밝혔다.
