【브레이크뉴스 대구】박은정 기자=대구도시개발공사(사장 정명섭)는 올 한 해 동안 선도적인 경영혁신과 적극적인 사회공헌 활동으로 ESG경영 확산에 큰 성과를 거두었다고 30일 밝혔다.

대구도시개발공사 ‘대구대공원 조성사업’ 내  건립예정인 A2블록 아파트단지를 공원에 둘러싸인 지형적 특성을 살려 자연과 더불어 사는 힐링주거공간으로 조성, ‘국토교통부 설계공모대전 온라인 국민선호도 조사에서 최수우작품에 선정된 바 있다. 

또 입주민의 안전한 주거환경을 위해 대구자치경찰위원회와 함께한 공공임대주택 범죄예방환경개선사업(CPTED)을 추진함으로서 경찰청장 표창을 수상하기도 했다.

이와 더불어 지역의 복지 전문기관 및 사회적협동조합과 함께 업무협약을 체결하면서 지역의 주거 취약계층의 안전과 주거복지 향상을 위한 사회공헌활동 결의를 다진 바 있다.

특히 대구시의 미래 50년 사업추진을 위해 공사 경영이익 150억 원을 배당하고 예산 신속집행을 97% 달성하는 등 지역경제 활성화를 위해서도 최선을 다하고 있다. 

대구도시개발공사는 내년에는 대구시에서 위탁받은 주거복지센터를 운영하며 주거 취약계층을 위한 사업을 추진하고, 입주민 대상 돌봄서비스를 제공하는 등 한층 강화된 주거복지 서비스를 제공할 계획이다.

또 군위군의 대구시 편입을 대비하여 상생 자매결연을 맺고 1사1촌 등 다양한 사회공헌 협업활동 등을 확대 추진해나갈 예정이다.
