의성군(군수 김주수)은 설 연휴 기간 동안 안전관리, 편의지원, 민생안정, 온기나눔 등 생활과 밀접한 4대 분야를 중심으로 한 설 명절 종합대책을 수립해 추진한다고 밝혔다.

군은 2월 14일부터 18일까지 5일간 총 200명을 투입해 ▲총괄지원반 ▲재해·재난관리반·도로대책반 ▲쓰레기처리·가축방역 상황반 ▲비상대응 및 응급진료반 ▲급수관리반 등 5개 반으로 구성된 ‘설 명절 종합상황실’을 운영하며, 각종 민원과 비상 상황에 신속히 대응할 방침이다. 특히 산불 발생 위험이 높은 겨울철을 고려해 산불 특별진화대 40명과 비상근무 인원 625명을 편성해 선제적인 산불 예방 활동을 강화한다.
