민원서비스 종합평가는 중앙행정기관과 지방자치단체, 교육청 등 전국 308개 행정기관을 대상으로 민원행정 전략과 체계, 민원제도 운영, 민원 처리 만족도 등 5개 분야를 종합적으로 평가해 상위 10% 기관에만 ‘가등급’을 부여하는 제도다.
이번 평가에서 의성군은 민원 사전상담 운영과 현장 중심의 민원 해결, 주민 체감형 서비스 개선 등 군민 편의 중심의 민원행정 추진 성과를 높이 평가받았다. 특히 반복 민원 개선, 민원 처리 체계 고도화, 민원담당자 보호 강화 등 민원 전반에 대한 체계적인 관리 노력이 우수한 평가를 받으며 대구·경북 기초지자체 가운데 유일하게 ‘가등급’을 획득했다.
의성군은 2022년과 2023년 ‘나등급’을 받은 이후 민원행정 전반에 대한 개선을 추진해 지난해 처음 ‘가등급’을 달성했으며, 올해 다시 최고 등급을 유지하며 민원행정 분야에서 지속적인 성과를 이어가고 있다.
김주수 의성군수는 “군민의 목소리에 더욱 귀 기울이며 군민이 체감할 수 있는 고품질 민원서비스를 확대해 나가겠다”며 “신뢰받는 행정, 만족도 높은 민원행정을 구현하는 데 최선을 다하겠다”고 말했다.

Uiseong County (Governor Kim Ju-soo) has been selected as the top institution for the second consecutive year, achieving the highest grade of Grade A in the "2025 Comprehensive Civil Service Evaluation," jointly hosted by the Ministry of the Interior and Safety and the Anti-Corruption and Civil Rights Commission.
The Comprehensive Civil Service Evaluation assesses 308 administrative agencies nationwide, including central administrative agencies, local governments, and offices of education, across five categories: civil service administration strategy and system, civil service system operation, and civil service satisfaction. In this evaluation, Uiseong County received high marks for its efforts in implementing citizen-centered civil service administration, including pre-complaint consultations, on-site complaint resolution, and improvements in resident-focused services. In particular, Uiseong County's systematic efforts to manage all aspects of civil affairs, including improving repetitive complaints, enhancing the civil affairs processing system, and strengthening the protection of civil affairs staff, received excellent evaluations, making it the only local government in Daegu and North Gyeongsang Province to receive a Grade A.
After receiving Grade B in 2022 and 2023, Uiseong County pursued improvements across its civil affairs administration, achieving Grade A for the first time last year. This year, it maintained the highest grade again, demonstrating continued success in civil affairs administration.
