【브레이크뉴스 의성】이성현 기자=의성군(군수 김주수)은 여름철 물놀이 시즌을 맞아 조문국박물관 물놀이장을 오는 8월 17일까지 운영한다고 밝혔다.
약 1,300㎡ 규모로 조성된 조문국박물관 물놀이장은 자이언트트리, 왕릉발굴터 놀이벽, 유물발굴터 분수, 금동관벤치 분수, 터널분수 등 다양한 물놀이 시설을 갖추고 있어, 단순한 놀이공간을 넘어 역사와 체험이 결합된 교육형 물놀이장으로 인기를 끌고 있다.
특히 운영 기간 중에는 ‘박물관은 살아있다’ 체험 프로그램이 7월 12일, 7월 26일, 8월 9일 총 3차례 열리며, 8월 9일에는 어린이 DJ가 참여하는 ‘워터밤 이벤트’도 마련돼 특별한 여름 추억을 선사할 예정이다.
물놀이장은 매주 월요일(박물관 휴관일)은 운영하지 않으며, 우천 시에는 강우 상황에 따라 임시 휴장할 수 있다. 입장 요금은 ▲3세~13세 이하 3,000원(군민 1,500원) ▲청소년 및 성인 5,000원(군민 2,500원)으로 책정돼 군민에게는 할인 혜택이 제공된다.
김주수 의성군수는 “매년 높은 호응을 얻고 있는 조문국박물관 물놀이장은 아이들이 무더위를 날리고 신나게 즐길 수 있는 공간”이라며 “단순한 물놀이를 넘어 역사와 문화를 체험할 수 있는 특별한 장소로, 대구·경북에서 가장 깨끗하고 안전한 물놀이장이 되도록 지속적으로 관리해 나가겠다”고 말했다.
