의성군(군수 김주수)에 따르면 이들은 지난 18일과 19일 양일간 금성면 청춘어람에서 ‘청년개발자 컨퍼런스’를 개최했다. 

이번 컨퍼런스는 ‘로컬 청년개발자와 AI 활용기술’을 주제로 전국 청년 개발자와 지역 청년 등 약 100명이 참석해 뜨거운 관심을 나타냈다. 

특히, 이번 행사는 의성군이 추진하는 청년개발자 프로젝트의 일환으로 지난 6월 의성체육관에서 열린‘청년개발자 경진대회’에 이은 연계 프로그램으로, 당시 경진대회에서는 전국에서 모인 100명의 청년개발자가 농업·관광·복지 등 군정에 접목할 수 있는 소프트웨어 개발 아이디어 25건을 제안해 주목을 받은 바 있다.

컨퍼런스는 이틀간 서로 다른 두 가지 주제로 진행됐는데, 첫째 날에는 CJ올리브영의 최가인 매니저 등 IT 분야 현직자들의 강연과 AI 기술 활용, 글로벌 테크 이슈를 주제로 다양한 의견이 오고갔다. 

둘째 날에는 로컬에서 활발히 활동 중인 청년 개발자들의 성공 사례가 공유됐다. 

의성군은 지난해부터 추진해 온 청년 개발자의 생활 인구 유입과 관련해 군의 미래 방향을 논의하는 장을 마련해 오고 있다.

김주수 의성군수는 “청년개발자들에게 지속적인 관심을 기울이며 의성군의 전통 산업과 신기술을 접목시키겠다”며“이러한 기술 융합 정책을 통해 지방소멸 문제를 극복할 수 있는 계기를 만들겠다”고 말했다고 밝혔다.

On the second day, success stories of young developers actively working locally were shared.

Uiseong County has been providing a forum for discussing the county's future direction, focusing on the influx of young developers into the county's workforce since last year.

Uiseong County Mayor Kim Ju-soo stated, "We will continue to focus on young developers and integrate Uiseong County's traditional industries with new technologies. Through this technology convergence policy, we will create an opportunity to overcome the problem of local extinction."
