【브레이크뉴스 대구】박은정 기자=대구시가 오는 22일부터 경제적으로 어려움을 겪고 있는 청년층의 주거비 부담을 덜어주기 위해 ‘청년 월세 한시 특별지원’을 시행한다고 18일 밝혔다.

지원대상은 만 19~34세(2022년 기준 1987년생부터 2003년생까지) 청년 중 보증금 5,000만원 이하, 월세 60만원 이하 주택에 부모와 별도로 거주하는 무주택자로 소득요건과 재산요건을 모두 충족해야 한다.

단 월세가 60만원을 초과하더라도 보증금의 월세환산액(환산율 2.5%)과 월세액의 합계액이 70만원 이하인 경우라면 지원대상에 포함된다.

소득·재산요건을 보면 청년 본인 가구소득이 기준 중위소득 60% 이하(1인 가구 기준 116만 6887원), 재산가액 1억 700만원 이하, 부모를 포함한 원가구 소득이 기준 중위소득 100% 이하(3인 가구 기준 419만 4701원), 재산가액 3억 8000만원 이하이다. 

만 30세 이상, 혼인, 미혼부·모, 또는 만 30세 미만 미혼 청년가구의 소득이 중위소득 50% 이상으로 부모와 생계를 달리한다고 인정되는 경우 청년 본인가구의 소득·재산만 확인한다.

보다 많은 청년들이 혜택을 받을 수 있도록 기존 월세지원사업, 공공임대주택 거주 등을 통해 주거비 경감 혜택을 이미 받은 경우는 이번 지원대상에서 제외된다.

신청 희망자는 본인이 거주조건·소득·재산 등의 정보를 모의계산 서비스 마이홈포털과 복지로에 직접 입력해 월세 지원대상 여부를 미리 확인할 수 있다.

신청 서류를 구비해 복지로 누리집에 입력하거나, 주소지 관할 행정복지센터에 직접 방문해 신청하면 된다.

신청기간은 오는 22일부터 2023년 8월까지며 자격 요건을 갖춘 청년가구는 실제 납부하는 임대료 범위 내에서 월 최대 20만원씩 지원 받을 수 있다. 

각 구·군에 마련된 전담부서에서 서류심사 및 소득·재산 조사를 통해 지원 결정을 해 오는 11월부터 지원금 지급을 시작할 계획이다.

안중곤 대구시 청년여성교육국장은 “이번 월세지원 사업이 경제적 어려움을 겪고 있는 청년들이 학업‧취업 등에 전념해 안정적으로 미래를 준비하는 데 도움이 될 것으로 기대한다”고 밝혔다.

In order for more young people to receive benefits, those who have already received housing cost reduction benefits through the existing monthly rent support project or living in public rental housing are excluded from this support.

Applicants who wish to apply can check whether they are eligible for monthly rent support by directly entering information such as living conditions, income, and property into the My Home Portal and Welfare Road, a simulated calculation service.

The application period is from the 22nd to August 2023, and young households who meet the qualifications can receive up to 200,000 won per month within the range of the actual rent they pay.

The department in charge of each district and county will make a decision on the application through document screening and income and property investigation, and the payment of the subsidy will start in November.
