시는 다음 달 3일부터 할인 판매를 시작한다고 밝혔다. 이달까지 830억 원을 발행한 데 이어 이번 230억 원을 추가로 공급함에 따라, 올해 연초에만 총 1,060억 원 규모의 포항사랑상품권이 시중에 유통된다.

이번 할인율은 지난 2월과 동일한 10%가 적용되며, 개인 구매 한도는 월 40만 원, 보유 한도는 70만 원이다. 시는 골목상권과 전통시장에 상품권을 집중 공급해 소비 촉진과 소상공인 매출 증대에 실질적인 도움이 될 것으로 기대하고 있다.

포항사랑카드 충전은 3월 3일 0시 15분부터 모바일 애플리케이션 ‘iM샵’과 지역 내 104개 판매대행 금융기관 영업점을 통해 가능하다. 판매대행점 현황은 포항사랑상품권 홈페이지에서 확인할 수 있다.

결제 방식도 다양하다. 실물 카드 결제는 물론 삼성페이, 네이버페이 QR, iM샵 QR 결제를 지원한다. 또한 지역 내 2만5,275개 가맹점과 ‘타보소’ 택시 앱(자동결제), ‘먹깨비’ 배달앱에서도 사용 가능하다.

가맹점은 지난해 2만5,037개소에서 올해 238개소가 늘어 총 2만5,275개소로 확대됐다. 음식점과 소매업, 서비스업 등 생활 밀착 업종 전반에서 활용 범위가 넓어졌다. 시는 가맹점 서포터즈 운영 등을 통해 가맹점을 지속 확대할 계획이다.

가맹점 등록을 희망하는 소상공인은 시청 홈페이지 온라인 신청 또는 읍면동 행정복지센터 방문을 통해 접수할 수 있다. 다만 대규모·준대규모점포, 유흥·단란주점, 사행산업 업종, 포항 외 지역 본사 법인 직영점, 연 매출 30억 원 초과 사업체 등은 등록이 제한된다.

장상길 포항시장 권한대행은 “연초 집중 발행한 포항사랑상품권이 시민과 소상공인 모두에게 도움이 되고 지역경제에 활력을 불어넣길 기대한다”며 “앞으로도 지역 자금의 선순환 구조를 강화하는 정책을 지속 추진하겠다”고 밝혔다.
