【브레이크뉴스 의성】이성현 기자=의성군(군수 김주수)은 최근 발생한 대형 산불로 삶의 터전을 잃은 이재민들의 임시주택(컨테이너) 입주가 본격적으로 시작됐다고 23일 밝혔다.

이번 임시주택 입주는 이재민들의 생활 안정을 위한 실질적인 첫걸음이자 지역 복구의 중대한 이정표로 평가되고 있다.

의성군이 제공한 임시주택은 전기, 수도, 냉난방, 가스레인지, 세탁기 등 기본 생활 인프라를 완비해 이재민들이 불편함 없이 생활할 수 있도록 세심하게 설계됐다.

현재까지 단촌면 16동, 점곡면 2동, 안평면 6동, 신평면 6동 등 총 30동의 임시주택이 설치 완료됐으며, 군은 오는 5월까지 총 241동 전량 설치를 목표로 박차를 가하고 있다.

의성군은 임시주택 입주를 앞두고 이재민 개인별 상황을 면밀히 파악해 신속한 입주 절차를 돕고 있으며, 침구류, 식료품, 생필품 등도 함께 제공해 생활 정착에 불편이 없도록 배려하고 있다.

이와 함께 군은 농어민수당 조기 지급, 농자재 카드 및 농기계 지원, 영농 인력 확보 등 농업 재개를 위한 다양한 복구 대책도 병행하고 있어, 피해 농가의 빠른 생계 회복에 실질적인 도움이 될 것으로 기대된다.

김주수 의성군수는 “산불로 힘든 시간을 견뎌온 이재민들께 깊은 위로의 말씀을 전한다”며, “이번 임시주택 입주가 일상으로 복귀하는 시작점이 되기를 바란다. 의성군은 앞으로도 주거, 생계, 농업 등 전방위적인 복구 지원에 최선을 다할 것”이라고 밝혔다.

의성군은 향후 이재민의 정서적 안정을 위한 심리 지원 프로그램과 지역 공동체 회복을 위한 다양한 방안도 검토하고 있어, 단기적인 주거 지원을 넘어 지속 가능한 재건과 회복으로 나아갈 계획이다.
