군에 따르면 캠페인 기간 경기 침체 속에서도 주민과 기관·단체의 자발적인 참여가 이어지며, 캠페인 종료일인 1월 31일 기준 총 15억 2천7백만 원의 성금이 모였다. 이는 지난해 모금액 14억 2천7백만 원보다 1억 70만 원 증가한 것으로, 참여 인원 역시 7,812명에서 8,080명으로 268명 늘어나 약 7%의 성장률을 기록하며 역대 최고 실적을 달성했다.

이번 캠페인은 세대를 아우르는 군민들의 꾸준한 참여로 기부 문화가 특정 계층이나 단체에 국한되지 않고 지역사회 전반으로 확산되고 있음을 보여줬다는 점에서 의미를 더했다. 생활 속 나눔 문화가 정착되며 지역사회에 따뜻한 연대와 희망의 메시지를 전했다는 평가다.

김주수 의성군수는 “희망2026 나눔캠페인을 통해 지역사회가 함께 나눔을 실천하며 이웃 간 연대를 더욱 공고히 하는 뜻깊은 시간이 됐다”며 “한마음 한뜻으로 동참해 주신 모든 군민과 단체에 깊이 감사드린다”고 말했다.

한편 이번 캠페인을 통해 조성된 성금은 사회복지공동모금회의 공동재원으로 활용돼 생계·의료비 등 긴급지원과 명절 위문금, 겨울나기 지원 등을 통해 사회복지기관·시설과 취약계층에 배분될 예정이다.
