31일 군에 따르면 농식품바우처 지원사업은 생계급여 수급가구를 대상으로 국산 과일류, 채소류, 흰우유, 신선알류, 육류, 잡곡류, 두부류, 임산물 등을 구매할 수 있도록 바우처를 지원하는 제도다. 2026년부터는 기존 임산부·영유아·아동 포함 가구에 더해 청년 가구까지 지원 대상이 확대되어, 청년층의 식생활 부담을 완화하고 보다 촘촘한 식생활 안전망을 구축할 계획이다.

지원 대상 가구에는 농식품바우처가 지급되며, 바우처는 국산 과일, 채소, 육류, 잡곡, 흰우유, 임산물 등을 구매하는 데 사용할 수 있다. 바우처는 지역 내 지정된 가맹점에서 이용할 수 있어 지역농산물 소비 촉진과 농가 소득 증대에도 기여할 것으로 기대된다.

신청은 주소지 관할 읍면사무소를 방문하거나 농식품바우처 누리집(www.foodvoucher.go.kr)과 ARS 전화(☎1511-0857)를 통해 수시로 가능하다. 다만, 대리 신청자와 임산부 등 추가 확인이 필요한 경우에는 증빙서류를 지참해 방문 신청해야 한다.

김주수 의성군수는 “농식품바우처 지원사업은 군민의 건강한 식생활을 뒷받침하는 중요한 정책”이라며, “특히 청년 가구까지 지원 대상을 확대해 더 많은 군민이 혜택을 받을 수 있도록 지속적으로 제도를 개선해 나가겠다”고 말했다.
