특히 내년도국가투자예산 신규사업 발굴보고회에서 도출된 하양 아트센터 조성, 경산시 위생매립장증설, 국도 4호선 대구혁신~하양남하 단구간 확장 등 주요 신규사업추진에 필요한 마중물 예산과 경산지식산업지구 진입도로 건설에 소요되는 총사업비를 1,549억 원에서 1,799억 원으로 250억 원 증액하고 국비 125억 원을 추가 지원해 줄 것을 건의했다.

또한, 국토교통부박재순 공동주택추진단장을 만나 지역 내 각종 건설사업과 대임 공공주택지구 건설사업이 원활하게 추진될 수 있도록 도와달라고 요청했다.
