【브레이크뉴스 경북】이성현 기자=경북도는 23일 도청 원융실에서 김학홍 행정부지사 주재로‘2024년도 국가투자예산 확보 전략 보고회’를 개최해 주요 건의사업 추진현황점검 및 예산순기에 따른 단계별․사업별․실국별 대응전략을 논의했다.

지난해 역대 최대 규모인 10조 9514억원의 국비를 확보한 바 있는 경북도는 글로벌 경기위축, 정부의 건전재정기조 유지 등 어려운 상황이 예상되는 올해에도 실국별 국비건의사업 11조 6천억원을 시작으로 정부 예산편성시까지 추가 신규건의사업 지속 발굴과 공모사업 응모 등으로 국비확보 활동에 주력할 계획이다.

이날 보고회는 실국별 건의사업 추진현황 보고를 시작으로 주요 전략사업별 각 부처 진행상황 및 문제점과 그에 따른 대응논리를 점검하고, 부처․국회 대응전략을 공유하는 등 2024년도 국비확보를 위한 세부 추진전략을 논의했다.

내년도 분야별 주요 사업으로는,‣사회간접자본(SOC) 분야에 영일만횡단구간 고속도로, 문경점촌선(문경~점촌~김천), 성주~대구간 고속도로, 북구미IC~군위JC간고속도로, 남부내륙철도(김천~거제),‣연구개발(R&D) 분야에 메타버스 디지털미디어 혁신허브 구축, 한류 메타버스 전당조성사업, 차세대 고효율 전력반도체 실증센터 구축, ‣농림수산 분야에 경상북도 먹거리 통합지원센터 건립, 지역특화 임대형 스마트팜 조성, 수산부산물 업사이클링 상용화센터 구축, 스마트양식클러스터 조성,‣ 문화·환경 분야에 메타버스 콘텐츠혁신센터 및 창작클러스터 조성, 천년 유교문화 경전각 건립, 첨단 전자산업 자원순환 클러스터 구축, ‣기타 경상북도 안전체험관건립, 경산 기술창업허브센터 구축 등이다.

또 경북도는 지역의 신성장동력이 될 수 있는 신규사업 및 다양한 분야의 예타사업을 발굴해 정부에 지속적으로 건의하고 기관 간 협조체계를 구축하고 각종 회의를 적극 활용해 부처 간, 지역 국회의원 간 다양한 공조전략을 펼쳐 정부예산에 반영될 수 있도록 모든 행정력을 동원할 방침이다.

한편, 2024년도 국가투자예산 건의사업은 4월말까지 소관부처로 신청하고 5월말까지 부처 심사를 거쳐 기재부로 제출된다.

김학홍 경북도 행정부지사는 “어느 때보다 국비확보 여건이 녹록치 않을 것으로 예상된다. 이럴 때일수록 체계적인 전략을 수립해 한 푼의 국비라도 더 확보하는 것이 중요하다. 침체된 지역경제 회복과 미래 신성장동력 확보를 위해 신기술․신산업 발굴에도 적극 앞장서겠다”고 강조했다.
