경북도는 지난 6일부터 9일까지 미국 라스베이거스 컨벤션센터(LVCC)에서 운영한 ‘CES 2026 경상북도 공동관’을 성공적으로 마무리하고, 이를 계기로 해외 투자 유치와 기술 협력, 후속 사업화 논의를 본격화할 계획이라고 밝혔다.

이번 전시에서 경북도는 총 1,220회의 비즈니스 상담을 진행해 4,904만 달러에 달하는 상담 성과를 기록했다. 이를 통해 미국, 유럽, 아시아권 바이어 및 글로벌 기업들과 실질적인 협력 논의를 진행하며 도내 기업들의 해외 진출 가능성을 구체화했다.

기업별로는 ㈜골든크로우가 미국과 싱가포르 법인 설립을 위한 협의를 진행하는 한편, 캐나다와 미국 LA에서 팝업스토어 운영 및 제품 판매를 추진하기로 했다. 또한 세계적 기업들과 OEM(위탁생산) 방식의 제품 출시를 위한 협력 논의도 이어지고 있다.

㈜이파워트레인은 미국 방위기술기업 안두릴 인더스트리즈(Anduril Industries) 창업자와의 만남을 계기로 후속 미팅을 추진하며 방산·첨단기술 분야에서의 협력 가능성을 모색하고 있다.

이번 CES에는 경북도관 14개 사, 포항시관 8개 사, 포스텍 7개 사 등 총 29개 도내 유망 기업이 참가해, 최고혁신상 2개를 포함한 총 5개의 CES 혁신상을 수상했다.

특히 레이더 기반 자율주행 인지 기술을 선보인 딥퓨전에이아이(주)와 실시간 대규모 다중모달 추론을 지원하는 웨어러블 AI 인터페이스 기술을 선보인 ㈜시티파이브는 CES 2026 AI 분야에서 각각 최고혁신상과 혁신상을 수상하며 세계적인 기술 경쟁력을 입증했다.

이로써 CES 2026 AI 분야 최고혁신상 수상 기업 3곳(두산로보틱스, 딥퓨전에이아이, 시티파이브) 가운데 2곳이 경북 기업으로, 경북이 AI 기술과 응용 솔루션 분야에서 글로벌 경쟁력을 확보했음을 보여줬다는 평가다.

양금희 경북도 경제부지사는 “단순 전시 지원을 넘어 바이어·투자자 연계, 기술 사업화, 후속 마케팅까지 이어지는 전주기 지원 체계를 통해 CES 성과가 실제 투자와 수출, 사업화로 연결되도록 적극 뒷받침하겠다”고 말했다.

In particular, Deep Fusion AI, which showcased radar-based autonomous driving perception technology, and City Five Co., Ltd., which showcased wearable AI interface technology supporting real-time, large-scale multimodal inference, demonstrated their global technological competitiveness by winning the Best of Innovation Award and the Innovation Award in the AI ​​category at CES 2026, respectively.

With this, two of the three winners of the CES 2026 AI Best of Innovation Award (Doosan Robotics, Deep Fusion AI, and City Five) are from Gyeongbuk, demonstrating the region's global competitiveness in AI technology and application solutions.
