이날 방문에서는 국무총리실, 기획재정부에서 근무하는 청도 출신중앙부처 공직자들을 만나 사전소통을 통해 2024년 신규 사업의 당위성을설명하고 정부 국비 예산 확보 협조를 건의하는 소통의 시간을 가졌다.

건의한 주요 현안 사업으로는 ▲각북지구 풍수해생활권 종합정비사업(485억원) ▲동곡지구 자연재해 위험개선지구 정비사업(298억원) ▲청도지역활력타운 조성사업(260억원) ▲화양읍 도시재생 뉴딜사업(183억원)▲순환형 매립시설 정비사업(87억원) ▲이서면 대전지구 하수관로 정비사업(78억원) 등이다.

김하수 청도군수는 “지방재정 확충을 위해서는 국․도비 예산 확보가 가장 최우선 과제로 우리 지역 주요 현안 해결을 위해서 중앙부처와 기획재정부는 물론 지역 국회의원과 소통하며 국비 확보 활동에 총력을다할 것”이라고 말했다.
